It is true that in China at present there are

no such Mixed Tribunals and Court of Appeal as

exist in Egypt and that freedom to enter British granted companies is by treaty to Chinese a stipulation

that suggests willingness to include all that

pertains to the inception and conduct of British

companies within our extra-territorial privileges.

But for those very reasons any laxity of control

any conflict of jurisdiction, any burdensome

condition precedent to obtaining redress for mal-

administration
